EXCELLENT Based on 17 reviews Hells Guardian2025-07-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dear Friends and Google Reviews Community A 5 star little plant nursery. His lordship was in the mood for cake and God forbid we get in the way of that. Situated across the road from the heritage railway station it's worth popping in for a tea, coffee or small cake, if visiting the castle make sure you pop into the Hideaway. On our visit, there wasn't much on display in the plant beds due the extensive heat recently they had move most to the poly tunnels for watering purposes which shows experience, expertise and consideration of the management team His lordship and the young lady who sorted out his coffee and cake put the world to right for their afternoon and shared a significant alignment on a number of subjects !!! Hell has a new friend for the VIP area reserved by his lordship !!!! A small but well stocked little shop adds to the place, a small carpark for the nursery makes for a place you just have to visit whilst going to the castle or awaiting the steam train back. Go visit. 5 star from the House of Chaos. K “HappyAngler” M2024-08-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We visited here after travelling on the steam train. Just across the road from the station, we were lured in by the signs for food. Lovely place to look around and the van at the back sells really reasonably priced food, which is cooked fresh to order. The lady was really lovely and the food was great. My 4 year old enjoyed his lunchbox, and we enjoyed our sausage and bacon sandwiches. We ate in a little covered seating area with a fantastic view over the field and of Bodiam Castle (picture is the view while eating). Would recommend and we will be back. colin spash2024-05-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. At the back of the garden centre, there's a converted horse box selling hot and cold food. Prices are far more reasonable than other eateries in the area. The lady serving was very nice too Susie Nicole (Susan)2024-03-31Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great little find, we traveled down by steam train & spotted it across from the station. Lovely little coffee shop wagon with unbelievable price. The new owners are working hard & it’s looking good. We will definitely be using this place throughout the seasons. 👍🏻 Jackie O'Connell2023-08-29Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lovely place. Friendly staff.
